Gassaway Mansion Wedding Photos of Brantlee and Dennis’ Wedding Day! Wedding Photography by Noveli Wedding Photography, Greenville Wedding Photographers and Destination Wedding Photographers

Dennis and Brantlee’s Gassaway Mansion Wedding was right out of a fairytale! And the best part, they both have a genuine love of all things Disney, and the staff at the Gassaway Mansion created the perfect environment. Why go to Disney to get married when they can bring Disney to you!

Their Love Story:

Believe it or not, Dennis and I actually met online with him sending the first hello. We corresponded by email and texts for weeks getting to know one another before actually speaking by phone. After sharing a few phone conversations, we decided to meet for our first date at McAllister’s Deli in Spartanburg, SC, on Thursday, September 1, 2016. When I first met Dennis, I instantly knew he was a kind and compassionate gentleman with the best sense of humor. As we sat at McAllister’s, we shared details of our childhood, our aspirations, lessons we’ve learned in life, and our love of Disney. Shortly after our first date, I left for a nine day beach vacation with a couple of girlfriends. While enjoying the sand and the waves, Dennis would call to ask how my trip was going. Throughout my beach getaway, he’d also send sweet, little texts reminding me to enjoy the cool ocean breeze and warm sunshine. Once I arrived home from my time at the beach, Dennis and I set a date to watch our first Carolina Panthers football game together. It was then that I met his son, Dennis III. Over the coming days, Dennis and I continued to keep our conversation open, but it wasn’t until November 2016 that we actually decided to become a couple.

The Proposal Story:

I was totally shocked when Dennis proposed. Dennis’ son had returned home from an overseas deployment, so we planned a welcome home party to honor him. Saturday, August 5th, 2017, family and friends had gathered for the big day. After a bit of food and socializing, Dennis pulled me out onto the dance floor to Bruno Mars’ “I Think I’m Gonna Marry You.” I thought nothing about it since he sang that song to me repeatedly in the car. We were dancing and singing having the best time when all of the sudden Dennis gets down on one knee and pulls out a little black box with the most beautiful engagement ring I’ve ever seen.
