We loved getting to travel down to Bald Head Island to capture Laura and Adam’s long awaited wedding day! It was a very chilly day on the island but it made for some awesome memories and truly spectacular images!
Their Story:
Laura and Adam shared the same love of adventure. Their first date, Adam picked up Laura in his old Corvette – they spent the afternoon at a music festival in Durham on the 4th of July, followed by hanging out and meeting Laura’s friends at a local brewery.
The Proposal:
Laura and Adam were on a nice trip to Asheville before Christmas for a long weekend getaway. Adam had originally planned a day hike to a waterfall trail they both have never been on. Unfortunately, Laura wasn’t feeling very well that weekend and had come down with a cold. Laura was up for a hike though and they ventured out in the cold that Saturday. After making it to the waterfall, Adam popped the question as they both sat on some very slippery rocks. Luckily Adam didn’t lose the ring over the rocks and by chance, there was photographer there to capture the moment!
