From the most special flower girl to an enchanted boat ride, Caroline and Brian had the perfect day at Heyward Manor.
Their Story:
We met in 9th grade in class. We actually had about 6 classes together that year and we became friends and then we started “dating.” I put that in quotes because we weren’t able to drive so our parents took us around. We went on our first official date when we were 16, after two years of being together. We have been together a total of 10 years.
The Proposal:
We did long distance for about a year and one of the times he came to visit me in Mississippi we went kayaking out to an island. We were the only people on the island and we walked for a while. We stopped to take a picture together and he set the camera up on a tripod and had me pose facing the ocean. Then he came up behind me and got down on one knee. It was the perfect day!
