Wedding Pictures at Mountain Lodge of Flat Rock NC for Chelsea and Nick. Wedding Photos by Noveli Wedding Photography.

We knew this wedding weekend was going to be a marathon. 3 full Wedding Days across multiple states, but when you love weddings and our couples as much as we do then its a challenge we will take every weekend! First up, Chelsea and Nick's Mountain Lodge at Flat Rock Wedding!

We had so much fun getting to know Chelsea and Nick through their engagements, to her bridal portraits at Revel and now the wedding day. Chelsea had been planning this perfect day for a long time and we love how perfect it turned out.

Her Dress was perfect!

It was Ball gown style with beading along the breast line, waist line, & upper back region with buttons going down the entire back centerline of the dress. I will have a cathedral veil and headpiece that looks similar to a tiara. I will also be wearing a necklace, bracelet, and earrings. The shoes will be sparkly..

While I was in the bridal suite with Chelsea and her ladies, Stephen was hanging with Nick in his hotel room and getting to know his groomsmen. An is was super cool that Nick's dad was his bestman!

How They Met:

We were both in college when we met, and working at Ingles. He was a bagger, and I was a cashier. Not very romantic!

The Proposal:

There is an Annual Apple Festival that is always held in Hendersonville, North Carolina on Labor Day weekend. Growing up, I was always involved in the parade in some form or another. I told Nick how much I enjoyed attending, and wanted to share this special occasion with him too! I asked my parents to come, and even invited my cousin, Justin! That way, all of us could go have a fun-filled day together. Little did I know, my parents had already been invited…

When we arrived, we started walking along Main Street to check out each of the different vendors. We decided to buy warm apple cider doughnuts, and apple cider slushies. Sooo delicious! We continued to stroll along, leisurely. My parents decided to stop for a minute, and everybody took a seat along the brick. Nick began talking about our relationship, how far we had come, and what he wanted with our future… He explained how deep his love was for me, and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me by his side. As he continued talking, my eyes filled with tears. I was listening to him as he proclaimed his love for me, and I couldn't have been happier…

He dropped down to his knee, and asked "Will you marry me?"

YES!!!

I remember feeling my heart, as it was pounding in my chest. I remember feeling the tears, as they were streaming down my face. I remember his warm touch as he reached for my trembling hand, and began to slide the beautiful ring on my finger.
