We loved being on the Wedding journey with them. From the crazy sunset that happened during their engagement session, to the hurricane force winds during Amber’s Bridal Portraits, to the big day, where all the pieces fell into place perfectly!
Their Story:
To make a very long story short – we were “boyfriend and girlfriend” during 8th and 9th grade. We went our separate ways during high school and went to separate colleges. Craig was home from U of SC and Amber was home from Clemson when we ran into each other at a fast food restaurant in Anderson. Craig messaged Amber on Facebook later that night because we didn’t even have each other’s phone numbers anymore. The rest is history!
The Proposal:
Craig had transferred to Clemson by this time and we were living together in an apartment. We planned to go to dinner one night when Craig suggested we stop by an old barn on the way to check it out as a potential wedding venue one day (we had been talking about getting engaged soon). We went inside and Craig had lined the floor with tea light candles and rose petals! A table with a white tablecloth was decorated with the cork from every bottle of champagne we’d shared together. Next to each cork was a red heart with the date from that bottle and what we’d done that day. The very last one read “The Day I Proposed,” and he got down on his knee!
The day could not have gone any better. From the fantastic job by Premiere Party Entertainment to keep the dancing floor hopping, to the deliciousness that was had when everyone got a taste of Holly’s Cakes. The wedding vendors that came together did an amazing job, and really helped us create some awesome wedding photography! We love being Anderson SC wedding photographers and we loved being a part of their big day!
