One of the biggest forms of flattery we get is when people who reach out to us from afar, and gush over our website, our blogs and our wedding photography. Ellen and Dominic were planning a destination wedding here in Greenville, and she loved our photography style and said the she could not imagine anyone else for her wedding day. We were happy to be apart of her perfect day!
From the ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Downtown Greenville, to the elegant dinner, each moment of the day was more perfect then the previous!
Although it took a while for them to get together, their love story is one for the books.
I (Ellen) met Dominic’s brother, Stephen. Dominic lived out of the country, but was often inquired about and discussed by mutual friends when Stephen was around. I always had an odd feeling of interest in Dominic- though I had never met him or even seen a picture of him, he sounded like the kind of guy I needed to meet. I was aware of how immensely creepy this feeling was, so I never shared these thoughts with anyone. This weird gut-feeling lingered for about a year and a half before I realized that he lived in the US again, and I was about to move to Georgia, where he currently lived. I asked Stephen for his number under the guise of “I mean.. I need to know someone there if my car breaks down or something.” After months of phone calls and texts, we decided to meet, and have been together ever since!
The Proposal!
Dominic proposed to me on the top of Blood Mountain. He has already climbed to the summit alone (at some point- this is all still a secret he intends to keep… the mountain is many hours from where either of us lived at the time)… but he carved the question into a tree and led me to it.
We loved the time we spent with them capturing their Old Cigar Warehouse Wedding Photography, and loved the Wedding Wire Review she gave us!
